What happens to a group of traveling actors when real life starts to imitate performance?  Leoncavallo’s famous thriller explores how relationships unravel in the face of careless flirtation, jealousy, intimate secrets, and unexpected betrayal.  These clowns are people too, and the danger becomes very real when the audience still believes they’re playing the part instead of plotting revenge.
